Return current category in search results page

Hi,

How can I return the current category in search results page? I have already tried to call the category in php but it doesn´t work. I need to put the current category in the search results page title.

'Category' is not a property of a set of results. Each result item can potentially belong to a different category.

Also a result item may belong to more /nested/ categories (category > sub_category 1 > sub_category_2 > ... > item ).

I first need to understand which category you want to add to the page title.
