content elements not installed? was created by brucelet
Custom Properties for Joomla! 3.x Version 3.1.22 (2016-09-10)
PHP 7.0.22
Joomla! 3.7.5 Stable [ Amani ] 14-August-2017 12:09 GMT
None of my search modules are working. When I look at my Custom Properties - Check Directories, it says content elements is not installed.
I also see in the search module that Bind to Content Element is "not installed".
I installed every component, module, and plugin in my purchase. What step am I missing?

The "No content elements installed" is the most common condition for Custom Properties. It means that no content element connectors for third party components (e.g. DocMan, K2, etc) are installed, and Custom Properties takes into consideration only Joomla native contents.
To double verify this you can use Custom Properties > Utilities > Manages content element connectors.
You should see the right column devoid of third party installed connectors, and the message:
"No content elements installed, only standard content items (Joomla articles) can be tagged."
The issue you are experiencing is very likely a consequence of the old version of Custom Properties you are still using.
The current version is 3.1.27. Since rel 3.1.22 several improvements, compatibility changes, bug fixing have been made.
See the Changelog for reference:

OK, well I'm obviously still missing something. I can't get the search module to work. I thought it had to do with the content elements. But the search just doesn't seem to be searching content (articles). (See screenshot.)
