Hi,
i try a Search with a Selection field you can see here: cms1.inter-tech.de/de/produkte/gehaeuse
As you see there are words "Auswahl / Selection". I do this manual as a temporary Way. The original Text ("Select some Options")is in File /media/jui/js/chosen.jqurery.min.js, only in English. Also some other messages. As i plan to have this Page in more than 2 Languages, here is a Translation needed. Is there anny way to do it?

Current version of Custom Properties uses the jquery.chosen library that is part of Joomla distribution as is. Hence that string is harcoded.
Investigating this issue we discovered that the default strings can be indeed overridden and therefore localized. But it takes some modifications to the core code of Custom Properties. (we plan to add this feature in the future)
You can maybe sidestepthe problem by setting parameter 'Select Label Position' to 'Inside', in order to use the field name instead of the 'Select some Options' string as the no-options-selected default text.
Other strings belonging to the CP Search module can be localized following the standard Joomla method.
The files containing the localized strings are:
modules/mod_cpsearch/xx-XX/xx-XX.mod_cpsearch.ini
