The tags work in the 3.2.29 only:

Category Overview (e.g. www.domain.com/category/cat1 )
The short description: NO (should work, but jdownlaod cut the description WITH cptags)
In Layout: NO

Download Detail (e.g. www.domain.com/download/cat1/download1 )
The short description: YES
In Layout: NO

In Joomla 1.5 version work CP Tags in the Download detailed view Layout (outline from the short description.)

Can you code it, the same like?
It is importend for me that the tags work in the detail download layout (with cptags placeholder).
