Tags don't show on the front end

Hi,
I get strickly the same problem than Harmanway, after upgrade joomla! from 1.5 to 2.5 and cp to the latest version, tags can be affect but don't appear in fronted. So I read this subject with interest but, seem to me, there is no end
When I check "public" in the field Access, when I save that uncheck… and no tags appear.
Is there a happy end to this story ?

one thing that could have been overlooked is the migration of _tags assignments_.
Make sure that the articles in your site do have tags assigned.

all the article are assigned, they keep their assignement during the migration. I post a screen to see what I see in assignment window.

I check the old and the new tables and I find 2 that are in the old and not in the new… I find :
_custom_properties
_custom_properties_fields
_custom_properties_values

in both, with the same contents, but not in the new :
_tag_term
_tag_term_content

am I on a good way ?

These 2 tables:
_tag_term
_tag_term_content
are not Custom Properties's tables.

Please also check 'bind to category' configuration in both component and module configuration.

the both fields, component and module, "bind to category" are uncheck, I see all my categories and it said "Leave it empty to search all categories." It's OK no ?
