Chosen Javascript plugin was created by sa
Hi Andrea,
Today I came across this very nice Javascript plugin called Chosen. harvesthq.github.com/chosen/
There is a mootools fork of it here: github.com/julesjanssen/chosen
Is it possible to easily hook up the code to use with CP? It seems like it would be a relatively easy thing to incorporate, adding even more value to CP.
Also another related question is, will List Box (Multiple Selection) be a field type supported in the future?
Thanks.

Thanks for bringing Chosen to my attention. Nice concept indeed, that could replace the checkbox-type field for long list of values.
It requires Mootools 1.3+, so it's only OK with J17.
About multiple selection: we're not great fan of the multiple selection list box on the frontend. It's not that usable (the ctrl+click thing is still a mistery for many) and requires a lot of space compared to the standard list box.
