CP Search results include unauthorized results

Ok, thanks. We need to customize that because its imperative that users not see article titles they do not have access to in this project.

To get things rolling quicker, can you tell me where I should start to make those modifications?

It's by no means a quick fix. A good deal of modification is required to the core search functions and to the content element connector handling.

The easiest workaround is to set the articles' permissions to 'Registered' (or whatever custom group you are using).
If you take advantage of Joomla inbuilt articles batch functions, you should be through in no time.

Using the Joomla Access levels isn't an option in this particular environment. We are using MijoACL for ACL for the ability to have user-specific permissions.

We were able to accomplish what we need for Custom Properties with a layout override of the results page. We're just dropping the results the user doesn't have access to and reducing the "total results found" by the number of dropped results.
