[Solved] Overriding custom properties. was created by assosgdf
Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to make overrides of the defaults views using the standard Joomla overriding system?

I ask this because since 2 days, I couldn't manage to make override work.

Actually, I copied the file
Code:
/components/com_customproperties/views/show/tmpl/default.php
into my template folder :
Code:
/templates/mytemplate/html/com_customproperties/show/default.php

Unfortunately, it appears to not work.

I found today the announcement about v3.X of cp and find in it a part about overriding.
Does this mean that cp (v2.x) for 2.5 isn't compatible with overriding?

Thank you for your time,

Regards
Bastien

Templates overrides do work in all versions of Custom Properties.

With CP for J2.5 you need to create/edit file:
Code:
templates/<your template>/html/com_customproperties/show/default.php

P.S.: I re-tested this funcitons 10 minutes ago, with the standard Beez 20 template. I'm positive it works.
