JBlibrary causing javascript error was created by Rianne
Hi,

JB Library was causing Javascript errors on my Joomla 2.5.8 website www.justcroesing.nl . I couldn't use any front-end submit button (document.formvalidator was null). So I searched for a solution and found out that this error was gone as soon as I disabled the JBLibrary plugin.

Now, the custom properties search functionality is not working anymore. Even if I turn on the JB Library I get the error "This service is for authorised users only. Please login or register. I never saw this error before.

Can you help me getting rid of this error? And what should be the settings of the JB Library plugin? If you need my administrator details, let me know.

The error seems to indicate that CP config parameter 'Search result access' has been set to a value different than public. It's difficult to find a connection between disabling the JBLibrary plugin and cripplig Custom Properties.

I know very little about JBlibrary. I learned it's a jQuery plugin and that could have something to do with the issue you are reporting.
Custom Properties relies only on the standard Mootools js library that is part of Joomla. In fact we refrained from employing jQuery on purpose - thou it's a fine library we use on other projects - to minimise the risk of conflicting js libraries.

That did the trick, thank you!
The CP config parameter Search result access appeared to be set to Public. But I just had to set them again and everything works fine again.
