text search -> error was created by brak_k
Hello,
I'm trying to add searching by text, write from user, but when I write some text to search I have only "Error."
Joomla 1.5
I set in Modules -> CP -> Search by text (YES)
Add tags to articles,
I have to do something more..?

I try to add
Installed Content Elements: content + docman
If I add docman, it's worse because search by listbox dont work and by text the same
If I disable docman, listbox works fine but text still "Error"

I log in
www.solidsystem.it/demo1519/administrator/
and compare options - it's the same... :(
I've try something different, I change filed type: listbox -> text.
Add Field Value and Assign Custom Properties to the article e.g test1
If I try to search by using "test1" I only have result
"Your search returned no records. Try selecting fewer options."

Which version of DocMan are you using? (maybe later versions lost compatibility with CP)
Field type->text is different than text search.
Text search is enabled in CP search module, and works much like the Joomla standard search, scanning content of title + introtext + fulltext.
Text field type requires the user to type the value of the tag, instead of chosing from a list box. It's a seldom used field type, suitable for attributes like 'size' (as in shoes size) or stock tickers.

I find file docman.xml where is 1.98 version
If Field type->text, works the same, like default joomla search (scanning content of title + introtext + fulltext.) why I have "Your search returned no records. Try selecting fewer options."
If I try search the same word eg "test", default joomla search give me some results
