Version 2.1 includes new features, the most important of which is the compatibility with Joomla 2.5. Other notable changes are:
- a new Date Range search mode that filters articles considering only the 'created date' (as opposed to the other mode that works in a more sophisticated way)
- support for JSON fields in content elements: Joomla 2.5 and many third party extensions now store some information in the DB as JSON objects. Custom Properties is now able to retrieve data from such fields. More info here.
