Multiselect + picker on mobile phones

hi SolidSystem,

I have tried to use the CustomProperties search form on mobile phone and I see (at least on my android 4.4 and FireFox) that the search fields of type "Multiselect + Picker" are not rendered "as picker" but as normal multiselect fields. Additionally the title (label) is displayed twice above every field which is configured in backend as "Multiselect + Picker".

It looks like the JavaScript which customizes those fields at page load is not executed on mobiles. Do you have any suggestions or experience with CP on mobiles?

Custom Properties 'Multiselect + Picker' is based upon the 'jquery.chosen' control that is part of Joomla standard js libraries.
The current version of 'chosen' shipped with Joomla is 0.14, and it's known to have limitation with mobile devices.

There's a new version of chosen (v.1.5.x) that seems to have some improvements in that area (I haven't tested that myself, so I can't be sure), but it's not part of Joomla yet.

We plan to test the new library, see how it works and report back.
