Change field type in Custom properties

Hi,

I would like to change a field type in this extension.

<input type="date" name="test"> is the input i would like to add. this will give a date and can use for my site. where do i go to replace one of the field types to this.

There's no simple way to add a custom 'date' input field.

Maybe you can use the built-in date search function of Custom Properties.

how do i go abouts on adding that?

There are dedicated parameters in Custom Properties Search Module and one parameter in main Custom Properties configuration to set the date search mode (standard / event-mode).

can i show result from specific categories with this?

Sure.
You can limit the search scope to one or more categories in different ways.

a) Restrict the search scope globally, by means of a parameter in Custom Properties configuration:



b.1) Restrict the search scope on a per module basis
b.2) Let you customer decide which categories to search by means of a dropdown list displayed on the module itself.
