New version for Joomla 2.5.1 / how to upgrade

Hello Andrea,

i have bought the pro Version for 1.7 some weeks ago. Now I have upgraded to Joomla 2.5.1 an all with Custom Properies is working find.
But still want to upgrade to the newest version of custom properties because you are writing that it is not full compatible with my current version.

So I have two questions:

1.
If I logged in i didn't find the newest version in my download section? Could this be or do I something wrong?

2.
Could you please short describe how to upgrade my current version? Or does the new module package automatically recognize that it is a update and I just install the newest version in the backend?

Point 2 is important for me. I have tagged more than 300 articles with more than 25 tags. I dont want to lose this settings, because it takes me days to do this.

Hi,
to download the latest version of CP you have to login and then re-visit the link contained in the confirmation email you got after purchasing Custom Properties or visit Member Area > My Orders.

About upgrade process:
To upgrade from J1.7.x to 2.5.x you can use this procedure:

Assuming you already installed CP 2.1 (the latest released which is J25 compatible) no further actions are required.
If you're still using a previous CP version, you need to upgrade CP too:
- Get the latest CP's Installer file as described above
- Install it using the standard Joomla install procedure
- Review and save CP config parameters
